A very special piece born out of friendship and complete trust. 🌿🎨
The inaugural piece of the PRIMAVERA series, created during a profound artistic return to the studio. This circular composition (Tondo) captures the vibrant, untamed energy of springtime. Lush greens and delicate blossoms intertwine, symbolizing a fresh awakening and the 'urgent green' that defines the Israeli landscape. A masterful celebration of renewal in oil on canvas.
"A monumental and provocative vertical study that blurs the lines between humanity and the botanical world. Standing at an impressive 120 cm, this oil-on-canvas masterpiece features a surreal composition: a child’s face, almost entirely veiled by the intricate, oversized blooms of the Henbit Dead-Nettle (Lamium amplexicaule). The soft, ethereal petals of the wildflower contrast sharply with a singular, modern detail—a bright blue candy held in the child’s mouth. This striking pop of color serves as a focal point, creating a dialogue between the pure, wild cycles of nature and the playful, manufactured innocence of childhood. Rendered with meticulous detail and a sophisticated play of shadow, this work is more than a portrait; it is a statement on growth, protection, and the silent, beautiful mysteries of the Israeli spring. Its grand scale and vertical posture make it a definitive centerpiece for any high-end private collection."

"A deeply personal exploration of texture and form, this oil painting celebrates the artist's enduring fascination with clovers. Moving away from strict realism, this piece embraces a more abstract, gestural style, where rhythmic 'splashes' of color breathe life into a lush green landscape. The composition is a vibrant tapestry of layered clovers and delicate wildflowers, rendered with an expressive touch that captures the untamed spirit of the field. For Avital, this work represents a moment of artistic freedom—a dialogue between the organic shapes of nature and the intuitive movement of the brush. It is a sophisticated, emotive piece that invites the viewer to lose themselves in the rich, verdant depths of the Mediterranean spring." * Medium: Professional Grade Oil on Canvas * Artist: Avital Oshrovitsh * Style: Contemporary Abstract Botanical
"Standing at an impressive 145x145 cm, this monumental oil painting is a profound act of observation. Inspired by a walk along the 'Nachsholim' beach, where the artist encountered the 'Silver Paronychia' (Al-Mavet HaKesef)—a tiny, resilient wildflower of the Mediterranean dunes—this work seeks to transform the microscopic into the magnificent. By magnifying this delicate, silver-hued bloom to such a grand scale, the artist demands that we notice the intricate beauty of the often-overlooked. The composition is a lush, textured tapestry of vibrant greens and luminous whites, rendered with a sophisticated, gestural touch. It is a powerful statement piece that celebrates the resilience of nature and the hidden treasures found in the Israeli landscape. A definitive centerpiece for a high-end private collection."
"A masterful dance between the abstract and the realistic. In this 50 cm oil painting, I explore the vibrant energy of the spring thicket against a deep, hand-painted black canvas. By choosing a dark foundation, I allowed the delicate greens and floral highlights to truly 'leap' from the surface, creating a dramatic, almost cinematic contrast. The brushstrokes move between intentional botanical detail and expressive, gestural marks, capturing the wild and untamed spirit of nature’s awakening. This piece is a celebration of light emerging from darkness—a sophisticated addition to any collection that values both modern abstraction and the timeless beauty of the natural world."
